NEW CAREER PARADIGM STUDY The American Business Collaboration has released the results of its "New Career Paradigm" study, written by WFD Consulting, to better understand what is driving today's career choices and how these patterns affect companies' recruitment and retention efforts throughout the life cycle. The New Career Paradigm study results have clear implications for corporate leaders looking to recruit and retain critical talent in a tight labor market. Our findings demonstrate that today's workers are diverse in both the factors they consider important for job satisfaction and in the goals and priorities the deem personally important. For organizations that want to recruit, retain and engage today's critical talent - in particular, young employees, women and mature workers - it will be increasingly important to understand in advance what compels and inspires these distinctly different groups across the life cycle. This report provides information that can help organizations customize their recruitment and retention strategies to meet the priorities of their critical talent.
